What I learned about the movie : Ce qu'il faut pour vivre!

I learned that it is never easy to leave your family even if you are sick. You feel lonely and you have nobody to talk with because you are not from the country, you do not know the language and you cannot communicate. In this movie, we can see that the nurse try to find ways to explain and talk with the eskimo. I learned that there is always someone when you feel alone and there are many ways to express yourself even if you do not have the same language.

Gothism : Art had lost its classical influence during the Middle Ages due to the invading Goths and Germanic tribes. Gothic paintings were more darkly, mystical. Gothic style represented early Christian culture and values. The artists were using costly materials such as gold, precious stone and ivory for representation of the importance of religion. Gothism was mostly used as panel paintings, frescoes, manuscript illumination and stained glass.

Romanesque: The Romanesque term is used to cover all derivations of Roman architecture from the fall of Rome. It traditionally refers to specific style as architecture, sculpture and minors arts. This style is characterised by a massiveness of scale. Also by reflecting the greater social stability of the new Millennium. It is influenced by the Christian culture and values by the expansion of the Christianism and the Crusades. But also by the Classical and Hellenistic Greek art.
